About The Guardian & Cholesterol Control

What is cholesterol?

Cholesterol is a waxy, fat-like substance found in the blood and in all cells of the body. It is involved in the production of hormones, vitamin D, and substances that help digest food. Cholesterol is produced naturally by the liver and is also obtained from certain foods.

What is the difference between LDL and HDL cholesterol?

LDL (low-density lipoprotein) and HDL (high-density lipoprotein) are two types of cholesterol carriers in the blood. LDL is often referred to as “bad” cholesterol because it transports cholesterol to tissues, while HDL is known as “good” cholesterol as it carries excess cholesterol back to the liver.

How often should I take herbal supplements for cholesterol control?

Customers have the ability to self dose our natural cholesterol support capsules, as they will work differently for each person.

We recommend 1-2 tablets, up to 3 times daily, with a large glass of water. To begin with, it is advised to take 2 tablets with breakfast, 2 with dinner, and amend the dosage where necessary.

Do not exceed the recommended dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can benefit from taking The Guardian?

This capsule will benefit you if you currently have high cholesterol.

Can I take The Guardian together with Plant Sterols?

Yes you can. Plant sterols work differently to red rice yeast meaning both can be taken together. Red rice yeast contains monacolin K which helps to reduce cholesterol production in the liver. Plant sterols focus more on the absorption of cholesterol in the intestines reducing the amount of cholesterol from your diet which enters the bloodstream.

Should I take The Guardian in the morning or evening?

Please refer to the packaging for guidelines on frequency.

Can I take cholesterol supplements alongside other medication?

If you are under medical supervision please consult a doctor or healthcare professional before use.
