Jan has been a practising clinical nutritionist since 1993; she holds four qualifications in nutritional medicine, including the degree of Master of Medical Science in Human Nutrition from University of Sheffield, and was a visiting lecturer there on the nutritional treatment of autoimmune diseases. She has been in the medical field for many years, qualified in the following specialisms; SRN, SCM, HV, Family Planning Cert., Dip. Tropical Medicine. She is a member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists (BANT).
