Overview :

The Bowen Technique is a gentle form of body work in which very subtle moves performed over muscles and connective tissue send messages deep into the body, retrieving cellular memory of a relaxed, balanced way of well-being.
The Bowen move is light, gentle and very precise, with no forceful manipulation, triggering the body to heal itself. A session can initiate deep relaxation and often significant and long-lasting pain relief and increased mobility.

Profile :

I trained with the Bowen Therapy of Academy of Australia and am a member of the Bowen Association UK.
I endeavour to bring an understanding of the necessity for us, as individuals, to grapple with our health issues and take responsibility for our health in the face of changing times. This is often a difficult journey on unfamiliar ground amid the complexities of life and the confusing array of medical treatments on offer.
However, these times of rapid change allow breakthroughs to occur which, as a consequence, can uproot our conventional way of thinking. In that respect complementary medicine and, I feel, in particular Bowen, is a fascinating and exciting field to work in. In 2009 I hope to initiate a study in infertility.
