The Chinese herbal tradition suggests that skin problems are due to excessive dampness or heat which can result in dry or damp lesions together with burning and/or itching sensations. Dermaherb provides a combination of de-tox herbs that help to re-vitalise and cleanse these areas. Often a skin problem is the result of an excessive intake of refined carbohydrates, particularly white sugar products and an overly acidic diet. Skin problems are rarely resolved by an external approach
