BT-A is principally a tonic with mild laxative properties. It may assist peristalsis and aid the removal of impacted faecal material. It is not a strong laxative but may, if used regularly, remove several pounds of undigested food matter. Undoubtedly our most called for blend.

Most cases will need to start with two capsules three times a day and then regulate the number of capsules needed to obtain at least one firm bowel movement daily. There is no upper limit for the number of capsules needed to relieve severe cases of constipation, but the aim should be to use the minimum number to achieve your aim. Do not taper off so much that you loose momentum or continuity of elimination. When an improper diet has caused the peristaltic musculature of the bowel to lose tone, it may take many months with the aid of this blend to clear out old faecal matter and rebuild the tissues so that the bowel can work efficiently and without assistance.
